Lydia’s Challenge

Many of you will be aware of the amazing challenges our LHS supporters take part in.

In her own words…

“In 2013 I cycled Route 66 solo to raise money for Love Hope Strength Foundation – a Rock and Roll Cancer charity founded by the inspirational Mike Peters from The Alarm.

In 4 weeks I cycled 2400 miles – had many highs, a few lows but always with the knowledge that friends and family were behind me 100%.

So what could I do to top that?

The Trail of The Long White Cloud: North to South New Zealand unsupported by bike.

A different kind of challenge… less miles for sure but when most of those miles are of the ‘up’ kind – this is going to be one hell of a tough ride. Climbing the equivalent of an expedition from sea level to the top of Everest and back again will once again push me to my limits!

Once again you can follow the day to day pain, adulation, weariness, tears, laughter and hopefully triumph on my blog site – www.1challengeatatime.blogspot.co.uk and of course via facebook – www.facebook.com/OneChallengeAtATime and if you would would like to support the amazing work of LHS please consider donating here www.justgiving.com/GoWithTheCrazy

Once again I will attempt to Fight The Fear, Go with the Crazy and try and find my breaking point but more importantly hopefully raise lots of money to support the work of Love Hope Strength Foundation.”
